Is Homosexuality A Sin? What Did Jesus Say?

“Is THIS what God calls ‘good’?”

Is this the new building block for CIVILIZATION?

First, I do not believe there is such a thing as a homosexual community. I believe there is such a thing as a community that practices homosexuality. While the point seems minor, it is an important delineation. Is it possible that the tiniest fraction of the human population is curious or drawn to these practices? Perhaps. After all, animal populations show this deviation. But not in the percentages that the human population is now displaying. And we are NOT mere animals. We are soulful beings with minds & hearts to go along with our physical bodies. And we belong to a Maker to whom we owe obedience. Regardless of our personal desires or temptations. God states very clearly that he detests homosexual practices. This is stated clearly in both the Old and New Testaments. And while most homosexuals deny that Jesus spoke against the practice, he did. Jesus specifically defined marriage as between a man and a woman. NOT because of historical ‘norms’ that need special interpretation in today’s culture- but because God created us as man and woman. No historic or cultural understanding needed.

(Matt 19:3-9) “3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?” 4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” 7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?” 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

This passage makes it clear that ALL sex outside of marriage was sinful. And marriage can only be a man and a woman. Thus, homosexuality is automatically outside the bounds of marriage and thus, sinful in Jesus’ eyes.

I believe this is why you will almost always find that those who practice homosexuality also claim that either God is non-existent or that the Apostle Paul & Timothy (who wrote most of the New Testament and condemned this practice) was a false prophet. They fail to take Jesus’ rather clear statement into account.

Guess what? Since God is King, he sets the rules. After all, people are also tempted to cheat on their spouses, steal, lie, kill, etc. And because God forbids it, we don’t get to do it. Practicing homosexuality is the same- God said, “No.” So the answer is no!

If this community was not ashamed of their behavior, why are they all so interested in negating the Bible’s words on the matter? Why, if they are so convinced that God approves of their behavior, can’t they exist peaceably with Jesus and those who follow him? Why the rabid hate?

As for Gay Marriage, I view this as purely political. It is a means used by Progressives to destroy the family unit. Why? Because the FAMILY unit is the number one way that any society can properly teach, disperse resources and raise functional and independent citizens. Wreck this and you will get a new population that will be mentally crippled and dependent on Uncle Sam for everything. This is the number one goal of the Progressive movement: to gain complete power over its citizens by making them dependent on it for basic needs.

And Gay Adoption? This is purely and simply child abuse. In every way possible way. Sexual identity and sexual role modeling are almost 100% learned in the home as children soak in everything between their parents. They decide what they want to be as a man or woman and what they don’t want to be- all by watching their parents’ interactions. Uncle Bob or Auntie Kathy will NOT be able to put in the face time to fill this role in any child’s life. Without this type of daily learning, a child must struggle terribly to understand themselves as a man or as a woman. As sexual identity is one of the most important ways in which we define ourselves, I believe this is intentional child abuse and should NEVER be allowed. Are there children whose parents have died? Yes, and it’s very tragic & tough for those kids. But why would we intentionally put children in this situation? Adoption rules are extremely strict- they discriminate on income, home cleanliness, education & age. Homosexuality should also be a discriminatory factor.Many, many lukewarm Christians have never read their Bible and so are not armed properly for spiritual warfare. Thus, they condone that which they should not. They actually help satan destroy souls- and our country. Many will claim (because they heard it somewhere- kinda like ‘separation of church & state’) that the Old Testament Law is DEAD. Completely false. That is about the most irresponsible paraphrase of Apostle Paul’s deep thoughts concerning Jewish laws that made people DO rituals to make themselves righteous before God again. He merely stated that the old rules about sacrifices, cleansing rituals, eating rituals, priesthood rituals, etc, were no longer necessary because Jesus was the final sacrifice that would clean us and make us righteous before God. Jesus’ body & blood were so far more superior as a sacrifice to God than any number of beef shanks or birds, or cups of wheat could ever be. His sacrifice of himself was so magnificent in God’s eyes that it SUFFICED for all of us, for all time. THAT was Paul’s point. NOT that the entire Old Testament, which displays God’s personality and views on moral/ immoral behavior, is somehow negated! Jesus was EXTRA clear on the matter when he said,

“17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Thus all Old Testament laws and statements that judge homosexual sex as sinful remain standing as they had nothing to do with purification or priesthood rites to obtain righteousness before God. In addition, IF the Old Testament ‘Law’ were all dead, so would the ten commandments be. Nonsense.

And here are the laws about homosexuality written in several books of the Old and New Testaments:

Romans 1:18-32 “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Timothy 1: 8-11 ⁸ But we know that the law is good if a man use it lawfully,
⁹ knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
¹⁰ for whoremongers, for those who defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine

Leviticus 20:13 ¹³“‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Leviticus 18:20-29 ²⁰ “‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife and defile yourself with her.
²¹ “‘Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.

1Kings 15:11-13 ¹ And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did David his father.
¹² And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
¹³ And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol and burned it by the Brook Kidron.

Saying ‘Gay Marriage Is Wrong,’ Is Stupid! It Doesn’t Hurt Anyone!

A reader was upset because a friend posted that if no one could come up with a ‘non-religious’ reason against gay marriage, then all opposition is ‘STUPID’. Here is my response to her:

Your friend is lost. She thinks of Christ as ‘religion’ when he simply IS. Same with God. The entire statement is unanswerable because it presupposes that she has any other choice than to obey God. Or that we can choose to ‘believe’ in him. I am beginning to think that God set homosexuality up as a stumbling block for humanity. Even pagans will agree about not stealing, not killing, etc. But sex? The pagan mind balks and say, “who is hurt? where is the victim? how does it hurt ME? Their ‘morality’ is self oriented- and is thus, not moral and certainly is nothing to admire. “I want to make a law that prevents others from hurting me.”  This is morality at it’s most basic form.

Pagan morality is not based on the commandments of God. So, for them, they have no respect for the commands of God- only in their self preservation.

I Believe In Jesus, So Why Can’t I Feel God?

Because I can’t feel him…

People often say, “I believe in Jesus and God and I have asked for forgiveness.  I know I am saved, but I just can’t feel God- I see others can feel him- but I can’t!  What is wrong?  Am I forgiven?  Am I really going to heaven?  If so, why can’t I feel God inside?”  I feel moved by the Holy Spirit to address with to everyone today.

If you have given your life fully to Jesus and if you believe he is the Son of God, fully authorized by God to lift you up on the day of resurrection – then you are saved.   If you ask for forgiveness of your sins, Jesus forgives you.  That is simple.

What is not simple is truly believing what you just said- and what is not easy is giving your entire life to God’s service.  This is the crux of your problem (and every human being’s problem.)

When people are asked, “Do you believe that Jesus’ body was broken and his blood was shed as a final sacrifice to make you right with God?” , they often answer too flippantly- “Yes, I do!”

But the question is, “Do you really believe that?”  Do you really believe that Jesus came to this earth- the Son of God- fully man and yet, fully divine, to die for you?    And that he came for only one purpose- to save mankind from death?  Do you even understand what that means?  Most people don’t. 

Figures. Uber Liberal History Channel Twists Bible and Leaves Out Need for Jesus

Rarely do I find such a great investigative blogger and Christian who knows her bible as this Sunny Shell, who writes a Christian blog called, “Abandoned to Christ”. I hadn’t wanted to watch the History Channel’s “The Bible” because they always misrepresent the Bible, God and Jesus. Always. But some friends were hootin’ and hollerin’ over it. Today, a reader posted Ms. Shell’s incredibly well written review of the movie. She hits the most salient points and demonstrates how badly the writers & directors of the film have gotten it. Don’t watch this Progressive hogwash. It is satanically close to the Bible.  But also satanically far away enough that souls will be lost because of it….

“About a week ago, I was contacted by the History Channel’s media group asking me to help promote “The Bible”, a new mini-series that was created and produced by Roma Downey, (Touched By An Angel) with her husband Mark Burnett (producer: The Voice, Survivor, Shark Tank, Celebrity Apprentice).

If I saw this advertised myself and I wasn’t in it, I would certainly be tuning in.”

Beloved saints of the Lord Jesus Christ, I share this review out of my abiding love and devotion to our heavenly Father, my great love and compassion for God’s elect, and those who are still lost. Please, be careful what you teach and what you condone.

Exactly What Does Christ Love Look Like? I Mean, According to Christ, That is.

They hated him first. And without reason. If you live as Christ commanded, the world will hate you too.

Friends. It seems as if my article “Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin?” That’s Not What God or Jesus Do!”,  really hit a nerve.  Here’s why:

Jesus said that only a few would find heaven. I believe it. The Bible  talks about how many would fall away from the true teachings of Christ and God.  What IS the true teaching of Jesus and God?  Where do we find it?  There is only one source.  It is not at church.  It is not in your pastor.  It is not in your family.  It is not anywhere in this world except in one place:  The Holy Bible.  If you fail to read the Bible, you do not know Jesus’ or God’s Word.  If you only go to church, but don’t read your Bible, you do not have God’s Word.  God’s Word is deep & wide.  It encompasses the breadth of God’s mind, heart and intent.  How can you learn that in one hour once every 7 days- if you go that often??  The answer is:  you can’t.  Without God’s word, you are, at best- a weak Christian.  You are vulnerable to satan’s influences.  You can be confused easily.  You can certainly be defeated by those who follow the father of lies.  Without God’s word, you are unprepared to run the race and endure to the end.  Salvation was never promised as a guaranteed thing.  It is not a magic potion.  It is not a charm.  You can lose your salvation.  And if you do not have the true word of God, how will you be able to withstand the machinations of a brilliant, dark angel of death? 

“Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin?” That’s Not What God or Jesus Do!

Jesus will NOT forgive those who do not ask for it. Nor will he forgive those who refuse to obey God’s commands on purpose. Only a FEW will make it to heaven. That means it will be a hard road, Friends.

The statement ‘love the sinner but hate the sin” is just one of many lies being spread by this new Milquetoast Christianity.   It is not in the Bible at all- no one uttered those words or those sentiments. God literally hated the sinner too sometimes. Certain sins made him angrier than others. This statement is not biblical in any sense I see. It is, in fact, contradictory to what God does. God is shown, quite a few times in the Old Testament, to hate the PEOPLE themselves. We have an awesome and fearful God.

⁴ For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
with you, evil people are not welcome.
⁵ The arrogant cannot stand
in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
⁶     you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
    you, Lord, detest.  Psalm 5:4-6

Obama Wants Supreme Court to Overturn California’s Gay Marriage Ban- WHY?

Obama urges Supreme Court to overturn gay marriage ban. Why stick his neck out for such a tiny population? Doesn’t he have other fish to fry?

People who actively participate in homosexuality are a teeny tiny minority of voters. So… why do YOU think Obama takes so very much time out of his day to court them? Even going to bat for them with the Supreme Court- against the constitution and against the Will of the People of California? Why stick his neck out for a number of people that can not possibly change the results of an election?

You need to put spiritual glasses on.

Homosexual behavior is so diametrically opposed to the Christian Bible that the more people who support it and practice it, the more so-atheists you will produce. Yes, it even produces so-called atheists out of the group that supports them. The more we accept this practice as ‘good’ and ‘moral’ and ‘equal’ to what God intended, the more we create a society that thinks it has the ‘right’ to throw away God’s commandments. The more a society thinks it can determine which of God’s commandments are relevant and good and worthy, the more mankind puts itself above God. And that, my friends, opens the door to Satan. And that giant, broad, easy, beautiful highway that leads straight to death.

See, the practice of homosexuality and the support of those who practice it creates a CULTURE that is DISOBEDIENT to God. THAT is the ticket and the goal of the satanic Progressives. This is the hole in the dike.

It is unusual for me to feel the need to speak against the Catholic Church.  Mostly because I believe that their theology is basically sound and centered on Christ as our ONLY salvation and NOT on good works or the machinations of any human.  Yes, they have a priesthood.  Yes, they have saints.  Yes, they have Mary.  But none of it crosses the threshold of the WORSHIP of pagans or diminishing Christ by saying he was only a human and not divine.  Catholic theology still holds Christ as the one and only Savior- and that he and he alone is empowered to save by grace and not by works.

There ARE current popular ‘religions’ that do cross this line into paganism:  Mormonism and Seventh Day Adventists are just two of the more popular ones.  They do not pass the test because Christ is only human to them.  Both these ideologies believe that mere humans will be equal to Christ and God.  They diminish Christ because they believe that GOOD WORKS are 100% necessary to salvation.  What nonsense!

All that being said, I can not understand how the Catholic priesthood believes it has the right to SUCH levels of secrecy! Especially when dealing with child rapists.  Their internal probe into sexual misconduct of the priests who raped children as well as their internal probe into the 2012 Vatican leak are known only to four people:  the pope and three cardinals. 

Who Wants To Know Why Arabs Hate Each Other (Sunni/Shiite) & Israelis?

Who wouldn’t be jealous if their father picked their younger brother over them?

Anyone who thinks the Bible is BORING has NOT read it. It is UTTERLY fascinating. The Sunni/Shiite division among Arabs was FORETOLD- also the ARAB vs. Israeli conflict. They are all, literally, blood brothers- all stemming from Abraham. The Arabs stemmed mostly from Ishmael- the first son of Abraham born to him by his concubine/second wife, Hagar. Israelis are blood related to Isaac, the second son born to Abraham by his first wife, Sarah. Sarah hated Hagar because Hagar mocked her for her infertility. When she was pregnant and gave birth to a SON (so important back then to keep families & wealth together), she became intolerable to Sarah. (what HUMAN drama, huh?). So when Sarah miraculously gets pregnant in her old age with Isaac, she tells her husband that there was no way that HER son would share his inheritance with Ishmael, Hagar’s son. She wanted BOTH of them booted from the family. Abraham loved Ishmael and didn’t want to boot him (soap opera, anyone?), but God told him to listen to Sarah. That he would take care of Ishmael- but he would establish his covenant with ISAAC. Ishmael went on to father the Arab nation- most of whom chose to worship a pagan god, Allah. The Israelis went on to continue their worship of God. God later, purposely defined himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob- to eliminate ALL doubt about his Being. As Arabs do not buy into the whole Isaac & Jacob part of God’s definition, they do not worship God- but the pagan idol, allah.

The Big Joke

Oh, this is just rich (no pun intended…ok, I admit it, pun intended)!  Only the O’s have increased their wealth by TEN TIMES in the last four years!!!!  They stared as millionaires and are now millionaires ten times over.  And they lambast RICH people?  Wanna know why?  Because their wealth doesn’t come from being a BUSINESS OWNER, it comes from their POLITICS.  Victim politics.  Race politics.  Hate politics.  And politics of DIVISION- ALL of it made them rich- even  Obama’s victim biographies were about politics.  They don’t hate rich people (au contraire!)  They just hate business people.  The medium & little ones.  From the very wealthy ones, they will soak up every penny.

New Modern Translation Bible Omits the Term “Christ”

There are many translations of The Holy Bible. Some are very accurate and some are not so. The copy right laws makes it very hard for translators to do their job properly, however there are some words and names which are not effected by any copy right laws, words and names such as God, Jesus Christ and Angels and few more. And when translation come about such as the following which omit or changes the above mentioned under the false pretense of “Easier Understanding,” we as believers have to be aware and expose these ungodly efforts! Another new Bible is making its way onto the shelves of Christian bookstores and the Sam’s Club religious section, touted by its publisher as a fresh and easy-to-understand translation for those who may own a Bible, but never read it.

The most recent Bible offering from religious publisher Thomas Nelson is entitled The Voice, and in an effort to make Scripture more palatable to 21st-century readers un-attuned to the customary language of the Christian faith, the translators have inserted some creative alternatives to age-old terms, causing some concerns among more tradition-minded Christians.

What Do I Believe In?

I believe first and foremost in the power, righteousness and worthiness of God – the Great I Am- to be worshipped.

Yes, worshipped.  Worship goes against the grain of the American spirit, which is why I believe we are so easily tempted to reject the notion of God.  We rebelled against worship when we refused to recognize the Pope and the King of England as our kings.   Why?  Because God created every man equal and hence, no man deserved worship.  Only God did.  When America needed help  to survive our original pilgrimage to this land, we worshipped Him.  When America needed God to help them achieve victory over our foreign enemies, we worshipped Him.   But now that America is the most powerful country in the world, like so many spoiled children, we assume we did it all on our own.  By rejecting the worthiness of God to be worshipped and loved, we lose the very Strength that brought us to greatness.

I believe that Jesus is the son of God.

That Jesus allowed himself to be killed- for our sake.  Why?   I think Jesus needed to step in between Man & God because God could not stand us & our sin any longer.  Mankind had failed the original tests of obedience (the Tree of Life & The Ten Commandments)- the power of Satan was too great for him.  God, in disgust, killed us all except one favored family.  He promised not to destroy again, but I think He wanted to after a while.  I think Jesus stepped in and made a deal with God.  He proposed that man should not be judged for his actions- but only for his love & faith in God.  The new test would be a simple one:  simply accept Jesus as the only way to God, and thus acknowledge that God IS God, and Man would be saved from annihilation. Faith and love in and of God would be enough.  God would remove Satan at a given time and thus, all further temptation and Man would be one with God again.

While the above is my own speculation, the evidence for Jesus & God in Bible prophecy is overwhelming.  And yet, people will not even look at it.  They wish to remain ignorant in the hopes of innocence.  Like Percy Grimm in Faulkner’s “Light of August” , people who refuse to evaluate the morality of their own actions are still guilty of the crimes they commit.  There is no such thing as, “I didn’t know.  I was just following orders- I was just attending to my business.”
