“Why Is There ONLY One Way to God?” the People Whined.

Indeed. This reminds me of how people complain all the time when Christians say, “There is only one way to God”. People say, “WHY only one? Who says there’s ONLY one??” They never stop to consider the most salient point: why should there BE one at all? Whoever said mankind deserves to live any longer than the animals do? Who says we should have more than the world around us? Is not this one life enough? Did you not get what every animal got? A time to live, breath, love, breed, grow and then die? Whoever said humans should live forever? And if they got to live forever, whoever mandated that we deserve to live forever in JOY? In fact, who said that God should even be good? Could not our Maker have been evil? Couldn’t he have enslaved us instead of loved us? Everyone just assumes that God should be good and that mankind should live forever and because God must be good, that our everlasting life will be a joy. But really, why should any of this be? We are just LUCKY that it is this way! And we should be incredibly grateful for God being good and that he loved us enough to give us ANY way to eternal life in joy. Because there is no rule that said it could not have been otherwise. Ever thought of that?

World’s First Genetically Modified Babies Born

Read this article and be truly disgusted with human kind.  Today, we like to look back at Hitler and recount all the disgusting experiments the Nazi’s conducted on thier prisoners.  However, so-called ‘scientists’ have decided that because they, western scientists, do it in sterile labs and out in the open (at least Hitler had the decency to hide his atrocities), they are NOT monsters.  But they are.  They really, really are.  They don’t care how these new ‘humans’ will fare.  Nor do they care what they have just introduced into the human genome.  I have to wonder just how many genetically modified babies didn’t make it.  How many mutilated babies were ‘born’ before these succeeded?  Did they suffer in their deformities?  Were they put to death because they were a failed experiment?  Was that murder?  Aggravated assault?  What?  Jesus said that had the days not been cut short, not even the elect would survive.  God has to end this timeline of existence.  Because if He didn’t, we would just destroy ourselves.

The world’s first geneticallymodified humans have been created, it was revealed last night.  The disclosure that 30 healthy babies were born after a series of experiments in the United States provoked another furious debate about ethics.  So far, two of the babies have been tested and have been found to contain genes from three ‘parents’.  Fifteen of the children were born in the past three years as a result of one experimental programme at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science of St Barnabas in New Jersey.  The babies were born to women who had problems conceiving. Extra genes from a female donor were inserted into their eggs before they were fertilised in an attempt to enable them to conceive.  Genetic fingerprint tests on two one-year- old children confirm that they have inherited DNA from three adults –two women and one man.

The fact that the children have inherited the extra genes and incorporated them into their ‘germline’ means that they will, in turn, be able to pass them on to their own offspring.  Altering the human germline – in effect tinkering with the very make-up of our species – is a technique shunned by the vast majority of the world’s scientists.  Geneticists fear that …. continue reading

Notice to the most passionate of my Short Little Rebel readers:  Come join Project Redemption on Facebook!   This is not a new Short Little Rebel page.  This is different.  When God removed me from my readers (using the turds at FB), I knew he had a plan- you & I know that no one can thwart God’s will.  Only his hand could do this.  I had even warned all of you several times that I felt he would do this soon- not to punish, but to grow his work.  He used Short Little Rebel to arouse and to deepen all of your commitment to his work.  When he felt you were ready, he removed your comfort zone!  And mine!  But he has replaced it with something much, much better!

I felt calm and prayed and just waited on the Lord.  Last Thursday, he revealed the plan, whole, which I have written down in detail and will be releasing soon.  It is exciting, to say the least.  I have created a new rallying point page on FB for the purpose of coordinating the launch of this project.  You will see why God removed SLR on FB.  You will see that by this move, he has glorified his name by a thousand fold from what my page, alone, could do.  If you wish to DO something in these troubled times to combat the evil that grips the world, then come.  But don’t come unless your commitment to the Lord is 100%.  I am gathering the most passionate of all Christians to this new page.  Like the battle of Midian, SLR readers are being boiled down to the most passionate.  And this group will do more than the whole of the rest.  After all, the Lord likes to show his glory and power through using only a few to change the world.  He boiled down Gideon’s army from 32,000 to 300!  And Jesus boiled down his thousands of followers to only 12.  Passion counts!  If you want to be a part of that group, I will see you at the new rally point for Project Redemption!

Saying ‘Gay Marriage Is Wrong,’ Is Stupid! It Doesn’t Hurt Anyone!

A reader was upset because a friend posted that if no one could come up with a ‘non-religious’ reason against gay marriage, then all opposition is ‘STUPID’. Here is my response to her:

Your friend is lost. She thinks of Christ as ‘religion’ when he simply IS. Same with God. The entire statement is unanswerable because it presupposes that she has any other choice than to obey God. Or that we can choose to ‘believe’ in him. I am beginning to think that God set homosexuality up as a stumbling block for humanity. Even pagans will agree about not stealing, not killing, etc. But sex? The pagan mind balks and say, “who is hurt? where is the victim? how does it hurt ME? Their ‘morality’ is self oriented- and is thus, not moral and certainly is nothing to admire. “I want to make a law that prevents others from hurting me.”  This is morality at it’s most basic form.

Pagan morality is not based on the commandments of God. So, for them, they have no respect for the commands of God- only in their self preservation.

People Never Believe God- And Then They Get Their Butts Kicked

The problem with human beings is that we never believe God when he tells us things. God sent Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah & countless others to the people of Israel to tell them (and tell them plainly) that he was going to smash their city, send plagues, starve them to death and send soldiers to cut them to pieces. How much more direct could he get? But rather than believe him, they either said, “Well, it’s hopeless, isn’t it? Let’s just keep partying to the very end!” or “Naw, he won’t do that to US- and certainly, not anytime soon.” And then they either killed the prophet or they tried to kill him.

Exactly What Does Christ Love Look Like? I Mean, According to Christ, That is.

They hated him first. And without reason. If you live as Christ commanded, the world will hate you too.

Friends. It seems as if my article “Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin?” That’s Not What God or Jesus Do!”,  really hit a nerve.  Here’s why:

Jesus said that only a few would find heaven. I believe it. The Bible  talks about how many would fall away from the true teachings of Christ and God.  What IS the true teaching of Jesus and God?  Where do we find it?  There is only one source.  It is not at church.  It is not in your pastor.  It is not in your family.  It is not anywhere in this world except in one place:  The Holy Bible.  If you fail to read the Bible, you do not know Jesus’ or God’s Word.  If you only go to church, but don’t read your Bible, you do not have God’s Word.  God’s Word is deep & wide.  It encompasses the breadth of God’s mind, heart and intent.  How can you learn that in one hour once every 7 days- if you go that often??  The answer is:  you can’t.  Without God’s word, you are, at best- a weak Christian.  You are vulnerable to satan’s influences.  You can be confused easily.  You can certainly be defeated by those who follow the father of lies.  Without God’s word, you are unprepared to run the race and endure to the end.  Salvation was never promised as a guaranteed thing.  It is not a magic potion.  It is not a charm.  You can lose your salvation.  And if you do not have the true word of God, how will you be able to withstand the machinations of a brilliant, dark angel of death? 

“Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin?” That’s Not What God or Jesus Do!

Jesus will NOT forgive those who do not ask for it. Nor will he forgive those who refuse to obey God’s commands on purpose. Only a FEW will make it to heaven. That means it will be a hard road, Friends.

The statement ‘love the sinner but hate the sin” is just one of many lies being spread by this new Milquetoast Christianity.   It is not in the Bible at all- no one uttered those words or those sentiments. God literally hated the sinner too sometimes. Certain sins made him angrier than others. This statement is not biblical in any sense I see. It is, in fact, contradictory to what God does. God is shown, quite a few times in the Old Testament, to hate the PEOPLE themselves. We have an awesome and fearful God.

⁴ For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
with you, evil people are not welcome.
⁵ The arrogant cannot stand
in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
⁶     you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
    you, Lord, detest.  Psalm 5:4-6

Jesus Heals People Everyday- But Sometimes He Says, “No.”

Jesus heals people everyday. But sometimes, He says, ‘No.’

Jesus can heal any illness or ailment- be it mental, physical or spiritual. He healed my husband’s cancer, which had become deadly, instantaneously, through group prayer. Miracles are happening ALL OVER THE WORLD. Literally.

But sometimes, when we pray with FULL FAITH that he can and will heal us if he so pleases, he might just say, ‘no.’

I have come to understand WHY he says, ‘no.’ He says, ‘no’, because he knows we need to continue just as we are. It is out of love. Yes.

We can’t see the future, so we can’t tell how each change in our lives can lead down the various timelines that are POSSIBLE. Jesus can see every outcome. He operates at a much higher knowledge than we can.

I want to tell you about an epiphany I just had just today.

Facebook Thinks It Can Kill God’s Message… Yeah, Right!

Facebook thinks it can stop God’s message. But God has put a hook in their mouth and has made them into his tool. By censoring, they will grow EVEN MORE sites like Short Little Rebel. Yeah, our God is THAT clever!

It’s so funny, but after FB suspended my account, I was so very angry- I wanted to create some kind of lawsuit if possible, against them and BING. But now, I don’t.

Here is what is happening:  Facebook, BING, Yahoo (that uses BING), and even Google have an active campaign to stop Christian conservative speech.   I will show you how they have actively inserted themselves to stop my message (and thus, God’s message) out.  FB has refused to send my personal Susan Shannon account AND my Short Little Account to ANY search engine.

Yet, they will send the index information of a tiny little FB page that actively celebrates death wishes against me, steals my intellectual property (my name), has sexually explicit content and pure hate speech against Christianity and me, to every search engine.  (photos further below on the article).   That tiny site ranks way up top while my actual sites don’t rank on ANY search page. And I am the one who owns my name! The BLATANT suppression of my site is … remarkable. Somehow, they don’t fear the public’s response.  Here is proof that Facebook removed me from their page directory with NO explanation.  Only after I inadvertently looked here and submitted a formal complaint did they say they would put it back.  However, the fact that they STILL have not sent my very popular Conservative Christian page’s information to the search engines is corrupt to its core.

In addition, I have screen shot proof that these pages have CONSPIRED- publicly!- to actively harass me on my personal FB page and have incited people to attack my business sites as well.

Notice how they are talking about how difficult my private page is to find. And how they give each other information about my site address for the SOLE purpose of harassing me. Notice how they conspired to put a special photo, loaded with hacking software (that’s the ‘special gift’) to prevent me from deleting the image which they then loaded into a comment on my page. But all this is fine with Facebook.

I have the screen shots that prove that they incited readers to spam all my pages- including my business pages, with, literally, the most foul language they could think of. I have screen images of my photos being taken and put in Photoshop and perverted into sexually explicit images and text. These were ALL posted boldly to the general public. But are THEY suspended? No. Just me. And I have repeatedly reported them. To no avail.

Jesus Used Facebook To Gently Rebuke Me

Facebook thinks THEY disciplined me- but the laugh is on them- It was God who used them to remind me why I blog!

Good Morning Friends. Well, FB came and locked me out of my account because of a post I did and have threatened to shut me down entirely ‘if I continue to break their posting rules’. Now, before I get into what happened, I want to tell you something I have realized. I believe that Jesus has gently rebuked me. I have been too angry, too proud and too.. well, full of myself lately. FB can’t close me down. As long as God wants me to speak, I will speak. There is, literally, no human or corporation that can stop God’s will. So, if I was silenced, it is because God allowed it to happen. I have been in prayer and have been reading the Bible for guidance in this matter. And I have to tell you, the break was nice. I rested and prayed and it was good. At first, of course, I was so angry because what FB did and what they ARE doing is evil, wrong and unjust. But that is the world today. Look at the Christians being murdered and imprisoned around the world. In comparison, I suffered nothing at all. Just a blow to my freedom and pride. Did it stink that other people could control me? yes. But I KNOW that God is in charge of the world. Nothing happens without his permission. Angels literally guard us everyday from satan. If they part their way and allow evil to touch us, then it was with God’s permission. We learned that with the story of Job.

Who Wants To Know Why Arabs Hate Each Other (Sunni/Shiite) & Israelis?

Who wouldn’t be jealous if their father picked their younger brother over them?

Anyone who thinks the Bible is BORING has NOT read it. It is UTTERLY fascinating. The Sunni/Shiite division among Arabs was FORETOLD- also the ARAB vs. Israeli conflict. They are all, literally, blood brothers- all stemming from Abraham. The Arabs stemmed mostly from Ishmael- the first son of Abraham born to him by his concubine/second wife, Hagar. Israelis are blood related to Isaac, the second son born to Abraham by his first wife, Sarah. Sarah hated Hagar because Hagar mocked her for her infertility. When she was pregnant and gave birth to a SON (so important back then to keep families & wealth together), she became intolerable to Sarah. (what HUMAN drama, huh?). So when Sarah miraculously gets pregnant in her old age with Isaac, she tells her husband that there was no way that HER son would share his inheritance with Ishmael, Hagar’s son. She wanted BOTH of them booted from the family. Abraham loved Ishmael and didn’t want to boot him (soap opera, anyone?), but God told him to listen to Sarah. That he would take care of Ishmael- but he would establish his covenant with ISAAC. Ishmael went on to father the Arab nation- most of whom chose to worship a pagan god, Allah. The Israelis went on to continue their worship of God. God later, purposely defined himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob- to eliminate ALL doubt about his Being. As Arabs do not buy into the whole Isaac & Jacob part of God’s definition, they do not worship God- but the pagan idol, allah.

Why Are Homosexuals Almost Always Jesus Haters?

Those who practice homosexuality hate Jesus.  Do you wonder why?

Friends, is there ANY wonder how so-called atheism and homosexuality are so closely linked? Why do you think that is so?

When God forbids something, he has a reason. My observation is that homosexuality is the ‘gateway sin’ to atheism, much like pot is the ‘gateway drug’  to addiction (please- no pro pot comments- save it for another discussion, pls.). Jesus made wine, not drugs. While people like to say alcohol is equal to pot, it is not. Jesus didn’t make something corrupt. God made a man and woman and he bound them together. Mankind made homosexuality. One is good, the other bad.

Why is it that almost all homosexuals and those that condone their behavior are so-called atheists? Because they embody the spirit of satan. He hates Jesus and so then do his servants.

Satan has cleverly created an atmosphere where people believe they can put themselves above God and determine which parts of the Bible they want to ‘believe’ and which parts they don’t. You don’t get to do that.

Who Is God & Where Is He In All This Mess?

Who is God? Does he love me? Does he care? Will he take care of me during these dark times? Here is your answer- straight from the lips of the Great I AM, our creator and Father:

“You who bring good news to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem,[a]
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
“Here is your God!”
See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power,
and he rules with a mighty arm.
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.
He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young.

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,

Who can fathom the Spirit of the Lord,
or instruct the Lord as his counselor?

or showed him the path of understanding?

they are regarded as dust on the scales;
he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.
Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires,
nor its animals enough for burnt offerings.
Before him all the nations are as nothing;
they are regarded by him as worthless
and less than nothing.

With whom, then, will you compare God?
To what image will you liken him?

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
He brings princes to naught
and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.
No sooner are they planted,
no sooner are they sown,
no sooner do they take root in the ground,
than he blows on them and they wither,

Why do you complain, Jacob?

Frightened? Don’t Be. Spend Some Time With Jesus!

Good Morning to All! Last night, in deep need of reassurance, I decided to spend some time with Jesus. I sought his goodness, wisdom and gentleness. God gave us Jesus for a reason, friends. He KNEW we would be frightened. He knew also that without a kind, intelligent face, God’s Word could terrify.

So He sent his Son as a humble carpenter. Someone we could touch. Someone who literal voice could be heard. Someone willing to touch the untouchable. Someone who you could hear breathing as he slept- who cried out to God like we do and who could feel the pain of the whip- like we do. Jesus is so approachable in our time of need while God can be so fearful in his judgement at times. Out of pure love for you and me, he sent what he knew we needed- Jesus.  In Jesus, we see the heart of kindness and love that IS God. It comforts us in our time of need.

Friends, I can’t really laugh or smile when I see what is happening in our nation and in our world. But I CAN celebrate and rejoice because

May I Suggest a Bible Version & Reading Plan for You?

A friend recently thrilled me by telling me she wanted to buy a Bible and read it!  She asked for a suggestion on a version and a reading plan.  I gave her the following answer which I also wish to share with you.  God Bless you and open your mind to His understanding.  Not all are so favored by God.  But those who seek, will find.  Those who thirst for God’s word will understand it.  Pray for wisdom and pray for guidance each time you open your Bible.  You will never be the same again.  The Bible is the most fascinating narrative on the beginning of mankind and our relationship first with God and then with Jesus.  (ie, the Old Testament vs. the New Testament).  The Old Testament foretold of Jesus’ coming and the New Testament shows how Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection were the FULFILLMENT of the Old Testament.  Once you read the Bible, you will fully understand the character and nature of God and Jesus and their great plan for you.  This includes immortal life with them in the
